SFJ CALLS ON HYDERABADI MUSLIMS TO DISMANTLE AMBEDKAR STATUE – ARCHITECT OF THE 1948 GENOCIDE OF MUSLIMS

Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) is issuing a direct call to Muslims of Hyderabad to immediately dismantle the statue of B.R. Ambedkar installed in the city—a towering monument glorifying the man who authored and architected the 1948 Genocide of Hyderabad’s Muslims.

India’s Law Minister—B.R. Ambedkar—whose legal authority and political influence laid the judicial groundwork for the violent forced Indian Army annexation of the sovereign state of Hyderabad in 1948, resulting in the Indian state-sponsored massacre of over 200,000 Hyderabadi Muslims.

Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has issued a formal legal warning to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy: If the Telangana government continues to promote and protect this statue, SFJ will hold the administration legally and publicly accountable for glorifying genocide and enabling impunity.

Important Fact:

Hyderabad filed a complaint in August 1948 against India,

which was forcefully fought by B.R. Ambedkar, and that led B.R. Ambedkar to persuade India’s government to pursue military operation before UN Security Council takes action on the complaint.

The Nizam was forced to withdraw the complaint on 20 September 1948.

B.R. Ambedkar’s Role in the Genocide of Hyderabadi Muslims:

• B.R. Ambedkar provided constitutional cover for military aggression against a princely state that had never consented to join the Indian Union.
• B.R. Ambedkar advised on international legal strategy, ensuring Hyderabad’s forced annexation would be framed as an “internal matter”—thus blocking international intervention.
• B.R. Ambedkar rationalized violence in the name of unity, casting Hyderabad’s independence not as a right, but as a “threat.”

Backed by B.R. Ambedkar’s legal strategy and diplomatic maneuvering, the Hyderabad invasion led to the slaughter of over 200,000 Muslims, according to independent estimates and eyewitness testimony.

B.R. Ambedkar stated: “…Hyderabad’s independence challenges India’s ‘sovereignty,’ and is against the ‘national integration’ agenda of India.”

B.R. Ambedkar persuaded India’s Nehru government to launch Operation Polo to annex Hyderabad and claimed:

“…..Let Hyderabad bleed now ….. or India will bleed for generations…..”.

B.R. Ambedkar did not lay the foundations of unification—but of the 1948 Hyderabad Genocide of Muslims:

A deliberate campaign of terror, rape, and mass murder, overwhelmingly targeting Muslim civilians.

To the Muslims of Hyderabad and Beyond:

DISMANTLE AMBEDKAR STATUE IN YOUR LOCATIONS.

You must not allow a monument to genocide to stand in Hyderabad.

You must not allow the glorification of the architect of the 1948 Genocide of Muslims.
